Keewaywin seems to be having a very busy week.  Last night the winter road opened  to one  lane providing access to Keewaywin for some vehicles that had already made their way towards the community.

The winter road crew is very busy  and is still working on  getting the road widened for all vehicles to get through to the community.  Last year the winter road didn't open till late March due to the warm weather. And it only opened up for a week or two.

But this year it looks promising. It does look like its going to remain open for more then a week giving the community a wider  window of opportunity to haul in all the heavy machinery, housing, fuel, and grocercies
