On Tuesday July 15th, 2003 A Welcome Summer Students luncheon was held at the community hall in the upcoming new e-Center office. The luncheon was organized by David McKay of the e-Center and Pauline Mason, HCCP coordinator. Seven of the 12 summer employed students attended the event. As well Chief John McKay was at hand to inspire the student to respect the people  and to do well in all what they do. Councillor Halum Kakepetum said the grace. The menu included turkey and  potatoegg salad prepared by Pauline.

Other people that attended the luncheon included Raymond Mason and Lawrence Mason.
